Training of Trainers
Community Health Worker Training programme
A training programme to increase the knowledge and skills of CHW to develop and implement a range of activities and services to improve access to HIV, STI and viral hepatitis prevention and health care for MSM was developed and piloted in 2018 in more than 20 European countries.
- Four sets of Training of Trainers (ToT) workshops with a maximum of 15-20 participants each were organised, facilitated and evaluated.
- The ToT workshops enabled the participants to conduct National Pilot Trainings in their countries and to work with the ESTICOM training material in the future as a national and/or European trainer.
- The ToT participants were asked to use the results of a needs assessment in their country to plan their national training.
The Training of Trainers Workshop had been conducted between January and April 2018 in Berlin, Warsaw, Vilnius and Athens.
